Introduction to theory, computation, and experimentation for the aerodynamics and designs of wind turbine blades. Topics to be covered include actuator disc and blade element theories for airfoil designs and understanding the wind resources. Experimentation on blade designs in a wind turbine serves as hands-on components. Please note that this class meets on the following dates: 10/4, 10/11,10/18, 10/25 and 11/1
