An introductory level course covering the practice, history, and theory of graphic artwork and design. Exercises related to line, shape, color theory, space, communication, and critique will be explored. Students will develop a strong understanding of design theory and acquire the tools and techniques used in both historical and contemporary graphic artwork while developing portfolio items.
