You will learn the same curriculum as our on-campus students
In partnership with a nurse leader and management, leadership theory and principles are applied during the design of this culminating experience. Design of a practicum provides the student an opportunity for critical reflection on their course of education in relation to the advanced practice role in nursing leadership and administration. Synthesis of management and leadership theoretical principles, practice guidelines and pertinent research should be emphasized when planning a practicum experience. Contingent with the needs of the organization, each learner must design; an administrative project that will assist the facility in its overall operation. Included in the design will be steps of implementation as well as the tools for evaluation.
