This snow-specific online training program includes four individual learning modules and certificates culminating in a Snow
and Ice Managers Association (SIMA) Advanced Snow Managers (ASM) credential. The course consists of understanding core principles of production and weather, Ice Management, Plowing Operations, and Sidewalk Management. Previous coursework in estimating or snow and ice management experience is encouraged. All individuals who successfully complete the course will have earned the professional accreditation of Advanced Snow Manager and the rights to use the
certification logo to represent their credentials publicly. A lab fee of $800 is required and provides access to the SIMA modules and additional online course materials. Concurrent enrollment in RECM 204 Applied Snow Management is encouraged but not required.
