The course focuses on different migration movements in the Middle East from the second half of the 19th century to the end of World War I. Within the scope of the course, migrations to and from the Middle East will be discussed. These include Muslim migrations from the Balkans and the Caucasus, migrations from the Middle East to the Americas, migrations of Christian populations out of the Ottoman Empire, and the Armenian Genocide.
