Legal Aspects of Health Care Management: This course is designed to give students a foundation in law as it applies to the health care industry. Topics of discussion will include the many areas that are affected by legislation, and rights acts. It touches on the legal effects of a range of topics including rights and responsibilities of patients, medical personnel and employees. Facilities include hospitals, clinical settings, private practice and other health care venues. Prerequisite: HLTH 200. (3:3,0)
