									The preceptorship is designed to involve the student in the  daily activities that are encountered in a large and  research animal facility. A minimum of 120 hours (60 hours,  60 hours research animal) of participation in a position  relating to veterinary technology in a faculty-approved   facility is required. Students who successfully complete  RATs Camp and/or Farm Camp at SUNY Delhi satisfy the hours  requirements for the laboratory and/or large animal portions  of the course, respectively. May be taken twice for credit.  A "P" passing grade is equivalent to a grade of C or better.
