You will learn the same curriculum as our on-campus students
Through the lens of Cultural Anthropology, students will explore the diverse ways in which humans live, think, and interact across cultures. Emphasizing both theoretical foundations and fieldwork methodologies, this course focuses on culture, language, structures of power, and the changing modern world. Values, behavior, and social relationships associated with a wide range of marriage and kinship systems, religions, and economic and political institutions are also discussed. By the end of the course, students will gain an appreciation for intercultural understanding and sensitivity and better recognize the issues of cultural change and continuity.
