An introduction to basic black and white photography, including camera operation, film developing, and printing in the darkroom. Emphasis will be placed on learning to use photography as a vehicle for creative and personal expression. Students must have a 35mm manually operated camera for the course. There are a limited number of loaner cameras available. No previous art experience is necessary.
