Bar fights. Airplane crashes. Trespassing humans and animals. Are you liable? By examining historical and contemporary theories of law and methods, students master legal reasoning skills that enable them to logically analyze tort law concepts. They will explore intentional, unintentional, and strict liability torts, as well as key defenses and related legal ethics. Specific hands-on skills are mastered.
