historical dynasties, imperial administration, family and kinship, trade routes and cultural exchange, philosophy and religion, festivals and foods, arts and architecture, science and technology. Explores the influence of major developments and inventions on Western civilization and global history. Not for credit in addition to AAS 221 China: Science and Civilization.
