The social action model is key to sociopolitical empowerment to affect increased social justice. This course aims to address and demonstrate the actions that might be required to develop and accomplish the broader social development and action agenda through practice and research. The course combines theories of international social work practice, social development, and community development with an opportunity for students to utilize their emerging research and practice skills ‘in vivo€™ with their partner organization.

SWK 450: International Social Action and Policy Practice in a Global Context. Varies
