Catalog Course Description

Students work on semester-long projects that are relevant to the computer programming degree. Their projects utilize new technologies and integrate previously learned knowledge and skills. Students write reports and give oral presentations on their projects. Prerequisites: CPT 2611 System Analysis.

Course Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

1. Demonstrate applied knowledge of computer-related aptitude, as determined by student’s individual projects. 2. Demonstrate, through individual projects and the creation of their digital portfolios, knowledge, and proficiency in developing software. 3. Demonstrate an understanding of computer-related careers, job search strategies and personal marketing techniques.
