The language of medicine is discussed with emphasis placed on the construction, definition, and spelling of medical terminology. Context of medical language including pathologies body systems and structures, are also considered. Students who are active participants and complete course requirements will be able to: (1) Define and correctly spell medical terms, (2) Identify the meaning of medical terms through analysis of word parts, (3) Define medical terminology associated with pathologies, body system and structure
