This course examines organizational and public policy issues that influence the operation and outcomes of public health and health care services. Students will gain an understanding of the organization, structure, and function of health care and public health systems, both domestically and internationally. Emphasis will be placed on influencing, formulating, and advocating for social and organizational policies that are culturally relevant and evidence-based.
