An introductory survey course focusing on major cultural, economic, political, and legal issues concerning women and gender. An integral part of this course is the study of successful individuals, social movements, established organizations and viable problem solving strategies to effect change. Contributions by women to the fields of science, literature and the arts will also be examined.
Prerequisites:
Completion of ENG 100 or ENG 101 placement
