Through dynamic and thought-provoking questions about real life sport, this course challenges students to examine societal, ethical and moral values in sport to help them respond to issues and dilemmas that often challenge athletes and coaches. Students will analyze the significant relation between sport and exercise and society, including issues of access for historically underrepresented groups. Presentation of facts and guidelines will enable students to engage in critical and reflective thinking about professional issues in sport and exercise.
