This course introduces a range of analytical methods that are designed for client-facing analysis. Over the semester, students will gain hands-on experience in: preparing and managing appropriate data; running basic quantitative analyses; and creating basic visualizations to communicate analysis results. Additionally, students will learn specialized skills that vary from semester to semester, which may include: spatial analysis, network analysis, simulation analysis, and survey design software. Emphasis is placed on using software widely-used by practitioners. Prerequisites: Emh 640, or Ist 608, or Inf 710, or permission of Instructor.
