This course offers an introduction to the laws and regulations employers are bound to in the course of their relationship with their employees. The course will focus on the evolution of employment relationships, employment discrimination and obligations employers owe to their employees. Case studies are used extensively. Prerequisites: BUSI 210 or HOSP 350 or CNST 270 or GOVT 170 or GOVT 200 or permission of instructor. (3:3,0)
