Quality and Risk in Health Care Management: This course is designed to introduce students to risk management as it applied to the health care industry. Topics of discussion will include the areas that contain elements of risk such as financial and safety and disaster planning. Facilities include hospitals, clinical settings, private practice and other venues. It will explore the agencies that regulate risk and their influence on the current health care system. Prerequisite: HLTH 200. (3:3,0)
