									Curriculum Development and Instructional Design:  This course provides students with the knowledge and  understanding to design, develop, deliver, and evaluate  curricula in nursing education. Students will explore  faculty roles in curricular design and development and the  forces that shape curricula in nursing education. Students  will integrate multiple sources of information to  collaboratively create a modern curriculum for a nursing  education program, uninhibited by current models.  Instructional design will be explored through concept  mapping using a cloud based map development tool.  Prerequisites: NURS 500, NURS 502, NURS 600.  All with a minimum grade of B.  Restrictions: Nursing Education majors only.  (3:3,0)
