An elective course designed to introduce students to applied animal nutrition. The course covers basic nutrition for both ruminant and simple-stomach animals. Students learn how nutrition affects the animal patient and causes or impacts animal conditions. Prerequisite: VETS 183 or BIOL 230 or [CHEM 120 or 180] with a grade of C or better or permission of instructor. (3:3,0)
