Students will learn how to evaluate research and follow the steps in completing a research project including hypothesis development, collecting and analyzing data. This course will focus specifically on the role of research in the communication discipline and provide a foundation of the fundamental components of the research process. Communication majors, but not minors, need a statistics class to advance. Prerequisite(s): open to Communication majors, minors and intended Communication majors.
