This course introduces students to the scope of global health issues, the variations in health systems, critical diseases and their interventions, key actors, and the methods, resources and skills needed to address them. With a focus on low- and middle-income countries, the course will review the technical concerns and potential practical solutions related to global health implementation, key players in global health, health systems strengthening, emerging threats and humanitarian crises, health equity and human rights, environmental health, and health program financing.
