This course examines the application of financial management techniques to decision-making for healthcare professionals. It focuses primarily on the institutional environment, and will address both prospective and cost-based reimbursement. The purpose is to prepare students for supervisory and management roles, and to enable their participation in the types of financial decisions that are required of healthcare executives. This course will be taught online but if needed, it can be taught in a traditional classroom setting or as a hybrid course.
