As an introduction to the concepts and the principles of financial accounting, this course analyzes how financial information is developed and utilized to prepare and to interpret financial statements. Methodology of accounting and the application of accounting principles will be covered to prepare financial reports. Other topics include internal controls, basic bookkeeping skills, and an introduction to financial analysis of financial reports.
