You will learn the same curriculum as our on-campus students

Students will learn the fundamental skills involved in being a Direct Support Professional, including helping clients with their physical, social, and daily living needs, medication management, and therapies as appropriate, while completing at least 90 internship hours. Additionally, students will learn and practice assessment, planning, and communication skills. Students will also be introduced to professional ethical standards such as client confidentiality and cultural competency. Finally, the student will create a professional portfolio revolving around National Alliance of Direct Support Professionals (DSP-1) standards and earn theDSP-1 Certificate.
