This course provides with the knowledge and skills necessary to be effective frontline supervisors across diverse human services settings, including disability services, behavioral health, addiction services, and child and family support. Emphasis is placed on ethical leadership, person-centered supervision, professional communication, staff development, and crisis management. This course prepares students to lead teams, support direct care professionals, and uphold high standards of care. Students will explore real-world supervisory responsibilities, reflect on their leadership identity, and develop a personalized supervisory action plan to guide their professional growth.
