A comprehensive study of the history, geography, culture, production, selection, storage, and service of some of the many varieties of beer and wine produced around the world. Factors to consider when pairing beer or wine with food are examined. Optional: During the course, you will have the opportunity to prepare a few items yourself (a total of four). You may need to purchase some basic ingredients if they are not already available in your kitchen. Together, we will make these items online, with an estimated total cost of $10–15. In addition, the course will include information about tea, including its production process and the different varieties available around the world.
