This course explores the Anticolonial message and aesthetics of Bad Bunny's latest album DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS (DtMF), and other Puerto Rican art productions, situating music within broader Caribbean, diasporic, and decolonial contexts. Using his lyrics and visual materials as critical entry points, the course examines Puerto Rico’s colonial condition and its entanglements with tourism, environmental injustice, displacement, diaspora, and cultural resistance. The course will be conducted entirely in English. Materials will be available in English and translations for song lyrics will be provided.
