This course examines the biological , psychological , and social dimensions of aging , with particular attention to end-of-life processes and experiences . Students will explore how individuals age across the lifespan , the physiological and cognitive changes associated with growing older , and the social contexts that shape aging experiences . The course addresses death and dying as integral aspects of the human life course , including topics such as grief and bereavement , palliative and hospice care , cultural attitudes toward mortality , and ethical considerations in end-of-life decision-making .
