In this course , students will begin the process of identifying their substantive area of focus and engaging in pre-implementation planning . Students will conduct a needs assessment in their practice settings , with the goal of bridging the research to practice gap . Students will establish a professional collaboration network ( PCN ) as a platform for knowledge development and translation . We will consider how PCNs can be utilized to interact , collaborate , and strategize with a diverse range of stakeholders holding expertise in students¿ substantive areas . Using a range of technologies , students will learn to evaluate and assess information obtained from key stakeholders through a trauma-informed human rights ( TIHR ) , racial trauma , and liberation lens , with an emphasis on ethics and accessibility .
