An introduction to current environmental issues through the lens of geology. Emphasis is placed on developing an understanding of the scientific basis for strategies aimed at limiting adverse consequences to natural systems and society as a whole. Potential areas of focus include water resources, environmental justice, climate change, energy resources, or natural disasters.
