This course offers hands-on experience in digital media content creation, with a focus on learning web writing and design through building websites and writing for social media platforms. Students will learn to plan, write, and produce compelling digital content—including text, images, audio, and video—while applying best practices for user experience and visual design. Students will gain practical skills in website development, content strategy, and digital workflows, using industry-standard tools to design and launch their own site. Students learn how to communicate effectively with online audiences through clear, concise writing and engaging multimedia storytelling. By the end of the semester, students will have created a portfolio of work that demonstrates their ability to design, produce, and manage digital media for real-world applications.
