A one-semester course covering selected topics in Biology. The emphasis in Topics I will be on the study of a fundamental area of Biology at an advanced level. Course content will vary but will comprise one of the biological sciences curricular content areas, i.e. cell and molecular biology, organismic biology, and population biology. Content will include readings from relevant texts as well as articles from the biology literature. Prerequisite: Permission of instructor.
