Selected topics courses are regularly scheduled courses that focus on a particular topic of interest. Descriptions are printed in the Schedule of Classes each semester. Selected topics courses may be used as elective credit and may be repeated for credit, provided that the topic of the course changes. Students will develop the skills to leverage AI for lesson planning, differentiation, and instructional design, transforming traditional classrooms into dynamic, technology-driven learning environments. Through exploration of AI-powered tools and educational technology platforms, students will learn to foster communication, collaboration, and creative expression. They will design and implement innovative digital lessons and activities that respond to diverse learner needs, creating engaging and personalized learning experiences.
