This course provides in depth examination of a selected advanced specialization topic related to the needs of vulnerable populations across socio-cultural contexts. Students will explore relevant social work interventions from various system-level perspectives. Students can select from a section focused on a) trauma, resilience, families, and communities, b) rural justice and global social development, or c) leadership, innovation, and organizational wellbeing. Although this course is required to be taken at least once as part of the MSW program, students may choose to take this course more than once as the topics change.
