You will learn the same curriculum as our on-campus students
Students learn to test software effectively, including concepts and techniques for testing software in evolving environments. Topics include software testing at the unit, module, subsystem, and system levels; developer testing; automatic and manual techniques for generating test data; testing concurrent and distributed software. Students will learn how to design software tests, automate software tests, use test coverage criteria, and how to design and build high quality software. Through a semester-long project, students will explore and experience software testing in practice ' designing and automating tests for a software project, understanding and handling challenges in software testing, and analyzing and improving the quality of the tests. Prerequisites: The grade of C or above in Csi 521, or passing the departmental examination in discrete math.
