This course offers students the opportunity to integrate theoretical concepts related to political science, public administration, and criminal justice with practical experience in the public sector. This course seeks both to enhance the educational value of the internship and to make it a springboard for a successful career, by exploring and developing students' career skills and competencies. Students enrolled in this class must obtain an internship related to this field during the same semester, and it is the student's responsibility to find their own internship. This course is variable credit (1-6 credits) depending on how many hours the student is interning. Students must complete a minimum of 45 internship hours for each credit registered for.
