Survey of Human Anatomy is a one-semester courseon the study of the structure and function of thehuman body. Topics include homeostasis, basicchemistry, cell structure, tissues, and thefollowing body systems: integumentary, skeletal,muscular, nervous, endocrine, cardiovascular,lymphatic, respiratory, urinary, digestive, andreproductive. Upon satisfactory course completion,the successful student will demonstrate anunderstanding of the basic chemistry of the celland cellular structure, identify and describeorgan systems, and demonstrate an understanding ofthe basic physiology of organ systems.
Prerequisites: HIT 120 or BIO 106 or BIO 109
