This course is a required supervised practiceexperience enabling the student to developcompetency for the delivery of social work,alcohol and substance abuse counseling, mentalhealth services, and direct support professionalwork. This learning experience provides thestudent with opportunities to connect theory andconcepts from the classroom to a Human Serviceswork environment. Students will complete a100-hour internship at an approved site. A medicalexamination, tuberculin test, background checkand/or fingerprint review may be required.

HUM 145.
