Child Growth and Development investigates howchildren from prenatal to adolescent growphysically, cognitively, emotionally, andsocially. Students will analyze both typical andatypical developmental patterns, using thewhole-child systems approach to understand howmilestones, theories, and sociocultural factorsshape a child's growth. Key topics includeprenatal development, early childhood milestones,family and cultural influences, and thetransitions into adolescence.
