This virtual professional practice course isdesigned to give students the opportunity to applythe knowledge gained in HIT 110 and HIT 212 toscenarios and example records from a variety ofhealthcare settings. The students will be able todemonstrate the ability to assigndiagnostic/procedure codes using codesets asrequired by the setting. Students will have theopportunity to support their code assignment byapplying coding rules and regulations.

HIT 212 and BIO 221, HIT 120 and HIT 110, or BIO 168
