This course is designed for students who are not yet academically prepared for college level reading and writing. The course integrates foundational reading, writing, vocabulary, and critical thinking skills that students need to succeed across college disciplines. Emphasis is placed on active reading strategies, grammar and sentence structure, academic vocabulary, and paragraph and essay development. The course serves as a bridge between high school level work and college level expectations, preparing students for ENG 100 College Composition. Prerequisite: None. 3 cr. 3 Lec.
