This is a noncredit corequisite course designed for students whose math skills are identified as precollege and are simultaneously and continuously enrolled in MTH 174 Mathematical Probability and Statistics 1. The course will focus on statistical terminology and notation, descriptive statistics, and inferential statistical techniques for estimation, decision making, and association. The course is designed to develop and enhance critical thinking, reading, writing, and technology skills necessary to be successful in statistics coursework. Corequisite: MTH 174- Mathematical Probability and Statistics 1. 3 cr. 3 Lec.
