Professional Analytic Methods will introduce students to the dueling analytic tools in almost every professional workplace, Microsoft Excel and a combination of R/SQL basics. The course discusses theory and provides hand-on experience with data gathering, cleaning, and validation and teaches basic analytic techniques while exposing students to a survey of state-of-the art data science and artificial intelligence tools that are taught in detail in later courses.
