Global Public Health will explore the challenges in achieving the human right to health in low- and middle-income countries worldwide. This course provides students with an understanding of the leading causes of illness death and disability related to social environmental and political factors that affect health and well-being in low- and middle-income countries. Students will learn approaches to prevent and control conditions and will examine solutions to improve global health.
