The emphasis is on how artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly shifting in the business landscape, from automating tasks to redefining job roles, driving decision making, and altering pathways to success. Students will trace the evolution of AI from early rule-based systems to modern neural networks. The course will examine the vital role of data strategy, the difference between "Narrow AI" and the pursuit of "General AI," with a focus on business applications. By the end of this course, students will possess the technical vocabulary and logical foundation necessary to succeed in more coursework in business applications of Machine Learning and Generative AI.
