This graduate seminar is designed as an advanced research methods course for students in the field of communication and other related disciplines such as public health. It is one of the three foundational courses towards the Communication Campaigns Micro-Credential offered by the UB Communication Department. Students are encouraged to have completed COM504 (Research Methods) or an equivalent course on social scientific methods to participate. This seminar aims to offer students hands-on experiences with design and evaluation of communication campaigns and health interventions. Using predominantly an experiential learning approach, this class will be a mix of interactive activities, actual fieldwork, short presentations, and written reports.
