This course explores the foundational methods and technologies for aggregating heterogeneous patient data- from clinical records and genomic information to social determinants of health and environmental factors. Students will study data fusion techniques, including entity resolution, record linkage, and multi-source integration while gaining hands-on experience with data modeling, graph databases, and Python-based analysis. By integrating theoretical frameworks of data fusion with practical case studies and current research, the course prepares students to build comprehensive patient profiles that support precision medicine and personalized healthcare decision-making.
